California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, as amended by CPRA), and analogous laws in Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, and Delaware, give residents the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information.
PlotCipher does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of certain analytics or marketing cookies may meet the broad definitions of “sale” or “sharing” under California law. Use the form below to opt out of any such activity; we will:
- Add your account (or browser) to our opt-out list within 15 days;
- Notify our analytics, advertising, and similar subprocessors of your opt-out;
- Confirm by email when the opt-out is in effect.
You can also signal opt-out automatically by enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We treat GPC as a valid opt-out request for California, Colorado, and Connecticut users.

You will not be discriminated against (denied service, charged different prices, or provided a lower quality of service) for exercising your privacy rights.
Pre-launch note for legal review:Before public launch, wire this form to a real Consent Management Platform (e.g., OneTrust, Osano, CookieYes) or a custom backend table; ensure subprocessor opt-outs propagate to your analytics provider and any “sharing” partners. Track requests for the annual reporting CPRA requires once thresholds are met.
